31 October 2005; Lichfield – VME Retail, in association with Midlands Co-operative Society, has completed the roll-out of their Chip & Pin solution across 614 epos terminals at 164 retail stores. The solution consists of EFT software from Comms XL, with Hypercom pin pads connected to Fujitsu TeamPOS 5000 epos terminals. The project also involved an upgrade of ISS300 epos software. VME Retail worked closely with members of Midlands Co-op’s own systems team for a successful implementation.
