solutionVME Retail’s software suite, IntelliStore, is used in pre-dominantly FMCG retailers, such as supermarkets, convenience stores, off licenses, discount toiletries and coffee shops.

The software suite is flexible enough to handle other retail verticals, and is being used in various department stores as well, handling the sale of non food items. This works particularly well for businesses with a mixed food and non food business which they wish to be managed centrally together.

The system is designed to cope with running a large multinational and multi currency operation with hundreds of stores, or a single site retailer with only 2 tills, and anything inbetween. Companies with multiple business units, such as coffee shops and supermarkets are easily catered for allowing the users to manage both businesses from the one application at Head Office.

IntelliStore version 3, which is due for release at the end of 2012, is based on the international ARTS data model standard which means it will be fully customisable to the requirements of FMCG and non food retailers alike. Specific new markets that IntelliStore version 3 will be designed for include fashion, electrical goods and hospitality.
