IntelliStore EPOS Systems Pricing Module

Sell at the best price

With thousands of products to sell, let IntelliStore optimise your prices.

IntelliStore allows you to maintain multiple prices per product – price bands. When combined with the Ranging Module (also standard) this allows you to set different groups of products within each store to different prices, in effect multiple price bands per store. This ensures the maximum profit possible without alienating your customers – Known value items (KVIs) can be set at one price whilst the other items you sell at different prices.

Suggested Pricing

Let IntelliStore do the hard work. Setup rounding rules and optimise your prices based on price rounding and/or margin requirements.

You can setup various options within the pricing module – maintain a standard list of reasons for each price range, set price by margin, pricing discounts, suggested pricing including automatic maintenance of minimum margins – if your cost price from your supplier goes up the retail price can automatically go up to ensure you maintain a minimum margin level.

Local Pricing control is also included within the pricing module, which is mainly used to set by exception localised pricing without penalising the store in question. For example, a store may need to artificially drop their bread and milk prices to compete with a new fish and chip shop opened nearby – local pricing allows this to happen but ensures that the store are credited back the missing margin so their figures aren’t artificially deflated – in effect Head Office is funding the loss leader.

Due diligence control is also maintained within the pricing module, allowing the store using hand held terminals (HHTs) to periodically check the prices of products against the labels on the shelves – thereby maintaining local trading standards requirements and removing the requirements for hand written records which can go missing – as all the information is stored within the IntelliStore SQL database.

Finally, the pricing module comes with comprehensive reports showing retail prices, margin, margin changes, margin exceptions, local prices and store due diligence reports.
